How to connect ChatGPT

Create a Modem account
Sign up at app.modem.dev/auth/signup and connect a source, so there is feedback to ask about. Modem has a free plan.

Install Modem in ChatGPT
Open the Modem listing in ChatGPT's plugin directory and select install. Searching the directory for Modem finds it too.

Sign in and authorize
Sign in to Modem and approve access for one organization. Search and agent access are separate permissions.

In ChatGPT, type @ and choose Modem, then ask your question.

How do I add Modem to ChatGPT?
Open the Modem listing (published by Modem Labs Inc.) in ChatGPT’s plugin directory, or choose Plugins in ChatGPT and search for Modem. Select install, sign in to Modem, and authorize. Then type @ in a chat and choose Modem.
What can I ask Modem in ChatGPT?
Anything about your customer feedback, such as "Summarize the three highest-priority open topics and who’s affected." Modem answers from the topics, people, and companies in your organization, and each topic links to the Linear issues and pull requests that resolve it.
What access does the plugin get?
Connecting uses OAuth, and search is granted separately from agent and write access. Write tools act under your existing role in the Modem organization you authorize. You need a Modem account.
